Rufus Lake Outfitters has a single Bear Management Area (BMA) covering 750 square miles. Ours is one of the largest areas in Ontario.

Whether you are an archery or rifle hunter, we can provide you with a pre-baited active stand. Or, you may wish to bait and use your own stand. Either way, you will find the hunting excellent and the accommodations exceedingly comfortable.

Cheques and money orders are acceptable for deposit however during your stay, and upon departure, cash only is our policy.

Moose Hunts:

If you're looking for a place to hunt moose, our area is especially ideal. With the harvesting of wood for the paper mills, there are numerous roads to access remote areas. With the vast network of lakes, rivers and streams, you might wish to hunt the water. The habitat is excellent for these majestic animals to flourish. Freshly cut areas with new growth, mature stands or marsh areas all offer real opportunity for a trophy animal.

We offer moose hunting packages with adult validation tags, or accommodations-only for your hunting party.

There are a variety of 7-day moose hunting packages available, including:

	Guided and unguided bow moose hunts
	Guided and unguided rifle moose hunts
	Adult validation tags are available (limited numbers). Be sure to reserve early.
	Prices are available upon request - Contact Us.

Licenses and taxes not included in packages. Deposit of 1/2 of package price required. Balance due upon arrival at camp.

Grouse and Duck:

With an extensive network of old and new logging roads hunters have a great opportunity to grouse hunt while big game hunting or fall fishing.

Vast areas of wild rice in the lake complex attract both ducks and geese in large numbers during the early fall migration.
